If you use the Bynco webshop, the following privacy policy applies. This privacy statement describes the different ways Bynco collects data and the purposes for which this data can be used.

What personal data does Bynco use and for what?

Execution of orders

When you place an order, Bynco will process your name, address, city, phone number, email address, driver's license number, date of birth, order and payment information. If you create an account, Bynco also registers your password. Bynco uses this information for providing customer service, processing orders, including the name of the car and managing your account.

We will retain your order details for as long as necessary to process the order and payment and two years thereafter, unless there is a dispute or a longer retention period is required by law.

If you have created an account, we will keep your account information, ordered products and favorites until you delete your account again or send us a request by email to delete your information.

My Bynco

Bynco records the data you enter when you register for the newsletter or create a Bynco account to use the search service, advertising service, saving favorites, the trade-in service, car sales service, downloading reports and brochures and message service in its database. Bynco collects and manages this data in order, among other things, to select occasions of interest to you and to be able to send them to you by e-mail or whatsapp. The storage period of the data you provide is a maximum of two years. If, when creating a My Bynco account or registering for the newsletter, you accept the terms and conditions and this privacy statement, you give Bynco permission to send you relevant emails and alerts for the aforementioned services. You can change the settings yourself in your My Bynco environment. In addition, Bynco will use your data to send you e-mail offers of Bynco products. The content of these emails will be tailored as much as possible to your interests based on your previous behavior on the site.

Bynco saves your details for up to 2 years after you unsubscribe from one of the above email services. To create your interests, the order history up to [3] months ago will be taken into account.

Personalized online shopping experience

We want your online shopping experience to match your personal preferences as closely as possible, by tailoring the information and offers on the site as much as possible to your interests. We do this by, for example, alerting you via the site or by e-mail to products you have previously viewed or placed in your shopping bag. We will also recommend products that are relevant to you. This is done on the basis of your previous visits to our website (click behaviour and purchase history).

We use cookies for this purpose. We also use cookies to make it easier for you to use the site, analyse website visits, interact with social media and display advertisements on third party sites. Read more about how cookies work.

Customer service

Our customer service team is here to help you, answer questions and troubleshoot problems. Our customer service is available through a variety of channels including telephone, live chat on the website, email, social media and Whatsapp. We will not use your data for cold acquisition.

When you contact Bynco, we can record the conversations for training and quality purposes, to verify and investigate assignments and transactions, or to comply with legal obligations. We may also use your personal information to enrich your profile in our CRM system.

Third party distribution

Bynco will not provide your information to third parties without your consent, except if legally obliged to do so or in the event of a merger or takeover by another party, in which case your information can be provided to the other party with whom it merges or by whom it will be taken over.

Furthermore, Bynco can use the services of third parties in the execution of its services, such as IT suppliers that host the webshop or send newsletters for Bynco. These parties are, based on agreements with Bynco, obliged to use your data only by order of Bynco and for the purposes mentioned in this privacy statement and to adequately secure your data.

Security

Bynco stores your data on external, secure servers at a professional hosting company. Only Bynco employees who need it for the execution of their job can access your data. Suppliers of Bynco that need access to your data for the execution of their services are obliged to take proper security measures and bind their employees to secrecy.

Exclusion of liability for external links

On Bynco's webshop, there may be links to other sites on the internet or webshops that are not under our control. Bynco accepts no liability for the protection of privacy or content of the pages linked to. Therefore, Bynco expressly dissociates itself from all content of all pages of third parties to which the web pages of Bynco are linked.
